Zero weight loss from day 4. (based on scale this morning). Wow, it must have been the ff cream cheese? I need to re-read the list of 72 items again today to be sure its not something else as well. Realistically though, I have lost 5 lbs and there are two more days to this phase which they say you can loose from up to 7-10 lbs. So I think I am still doing ok. Looking forward to Wednesday where I can actually start alternating days with some veggies besides onion.
Breakfast: scrambled egg whites, canadian bacon, coffee w splenda and ff almond milk.
UPDATE: Fresh Onion is not on the 72 foods list for phase 1. Only onion as a spice is! Well I have only had it twice but could be reason for Zero weight loss yesterday.On filp side, FF dairy products is on the list so that means my ff cream cheese was ok. (would rather have that than onion anyway!)
Snack: hard boiled egg, water
Lunch: Leftover meatloaf with mustard (picked out cooked onion inside since I just realized I am not supposed to be eating onion!), water. Very full. Will have to wait to eat yogurt snack.
Snack: FF Yogurt mixed with cocoa, vanilla flavor & Splenda.

Forgot to mention I pre-ordered on Saturday the Dukan Diet Book and also the Dukan Diet Cookbook online at amazon. It will be available on April 19. Its been interesting finding out how to do this diet from various sources online. Will be nice to finally have the books.GOT MORE of the 0 fat 0 carb yogurt in 24 oz tubs. White Fish and treats for the kids for Easter. I am proud that I never touched any for myself. Normally I would have to sample on way home.
Went for a chilly 20 min walk at 8:30
Dinner: Was not hungry for dinner (still full from so much meatloaf earlier) so snacked on meat/ff cheese roll-ups while making lunch for tomorrow. I then realized I had not had much oat-bran today so I fixed a small bowl of hot cereal with FF almond milk, splenda. All I needed.
It is amazing how one little thing added in can spoil the wt. loss. You are doing great, though! I bet the next two days will show loss...are you supposed to weigh yourself every day like this?
ReplyDeleteI just read some things along with the list of food items. It as not the FF cream cheese. I can have all ff dairy products. (well I will not fee bad now!) It was probably maybe the fresh onion I put in the meatloaf. I misinterpreted "spice" onion for fresh. Oddly I had fresh onion with my fajita chicken Friday night and still lost 2 lbs on Friday. I also just read that if you stop loosing beyond your 5th day on phase 1 to just go directly to phase 2. So...I will see what happens today. And yes, they want you to weigh every day. Purpose is to help the dieter to not only stay on track but to feel good about the the instant progress.
